RAINHILL GALA 2012 TUG O’ WAR
The 2012 Rainhill Gala is nearly upon us and once again we’re looking for the best Tug O’ War team in and around Rainhill. 2011 saw a third victory for the Coach & Horses, but will the mighty Comm come back and regain the title or will the Rocket pull like they’ve never pulled before? It’s anyone’s competition and 2012 promises to be better than ever.
What you need to do:
- Get a team of at least 8 people;
- Call in and see Emma at the Coach & Horses with your completed entry form BEFORE 2nd June 2012. If you can’t get in please call Emma on 426 8303 before the deadline but please bring the entry form with you on Gala day;
- Get some t-shirts made. Either get some cheap T Shirts from anywhere and draw on them or for that more professional look why not get them printed?
- Raise £15 per team sponsorship (that’s just over £2 each!);
- Get as many supporters as you can, it’s amazing how much easier it is to win with your mates behind you;
- On the day report no later than 1:30 (for a 2pm start) to the Registration Tent as you enter the Gala. Sorry but participants of the Tug O’ War competition will need to pay the entry fee (£1);
- Try to take home the trophy!!!
